Our Scout Group is primarily managed by our Leadership Team and an Executive Committee. We are supported by and answerable to our local District Scouts who in turn are supported by and accountable to our County Scouts, this ensures that the best possible Scouting is being delivered. We have all three sections operating, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. Scouts move on to the District Explorer Scouts and then onto the Scout Network should they wish. You will be able to find all you need to know about us by browsing this site and there are plenty of links to direct you to the many sites devoted to Scouting, there are also some local links that you may find useful.

Welcome to the home of the 1st Hemel Hempstead Scout Group. We are located approximately 5 minutes from junction 8 of the M1 on the Queensway and we are one of the more central Groups in Hemel Hempstead. More details and directions can be found on the contacts page. Subscriptions are £30 per term or £28 for sibling groups. It is our policy where possible never to exclude any young person with a genuine desire to join the movement. Our term times are based on those of the local education authorities and as a rule we do not meet during holidays, however there are occasions when camps and expeditions are planned during school breaks.
